The Merlin Rivington AAA Riding Jean in Blue is the blue denim colourway of the Rivington AAA – the same full specification as the Black version, in a classic indigo denim finish that wears as a standard riding jean on and off the bike. Certified to CE EN17092-2:2020 Level AAA – the highest achievable rating under the European motorcycle clothing standard, requiring the most stringent abrasion, tear, and seam burst performance across all impact zones. Pre-fitted with D3O® Diablo armour at both the knees and hips from the factory.

D3O® Diablo Armour

Pre-fitted D3O® Diablo knee and hip protectors – a higher-performance compound than the D3O Ghost found in H-D riding jackets and gloves, engineered for higher-impact applications where greater energy absorption is required. Rate-sensitive: soft and flexible in normal use, stiffening instantly on impact. Adjustable knee positioning allows the armour to be set at the correct height for the rider's leg length and riding position – ensuring the knee armour protects the right area in an impact.

DualGuard Layering System & Construction

The DualGuard Layering System is Merlin's proprietary dual-layer abrasion-resistant liner that provides the protection performance required for AAA certification while maintaining the look and feel of a standard riding jean. A DWR (Durable Water Repellent) treatment on the outer fabric provides light weather resistance. YKK® zippers throughout, including a waterproof top pocket zip. Euro hoop connecting strap and jacket-to-jean connecting zipper for compatibility with a riding jacket. Anthracite reflective turn-up for low-light visibility. Leather belt patch and metal hardware throughout. Straight leg, regular rise – comfortable without being baggy or slim.
