“AMC” is an electronic device designed to suppress the error signal from the post-catalyst lambda probe (downstream of the catalytic converter).

This prevents the MIL (Check Engine) light from illuminating due to catalytic converter efficiency errors or sensor reading anomalies—or clears it upon the first start-up, depending on the motorcycle model.
